Glacier grinned, cantering after her. "Okay, but don't wake me up again!" he called cheerfully. He hoped he hadn't bothered her that night. Would it have been better if he had left her to herself? Oh well, the stallion thought, tired and ready to sleep the rest of the night through. I just hope nothing like that happens ever again. It's my duty to protect her, but how can I know when she doesn't need me?

After a long night of soundless sleep Tsarmina woke to the sounds of a bright summer morning. She yawned and strecked her body. She got up and shook off dirt from her red coat. Then she walked a little ways off and started to eat on the summer grass.

Waking, Glacier tossed his head vigorously and rose, cheered with the come of the new season. He moved closer to his lead mare, with thoughts of new life in his mind. The stallion gave Tsarmina an affectionate good morning nuzzle, and then bent over to have breakfast.

Tsarmina was thinking of SO many things at that moment. Like, When will he want to mate with me? It is summer.... Actully that was the only thng on her mind.

Swallowing the last blades that he planned to consume, he lifted his head and looked at Tsarmina. "So... anything in particular you would like to do today?" he asked, as if ignorant of the season. A slight grin was on his muzzle, however, for he was jesting.

Tsarmina snapped her head up,"No, nothing." She looked back down, she just didn't have the courage to tell him what she really wanted to do that day. She started to eat again, how stupid could she be?!

He nudged Tsarmina slightly, understanding her unease. "Well, I don't know about you, but I hear that there is a very nice forest not too far away. It's the perfect place to spend part of our summer day," Glacier said.

"Okay, that sounds nice." Tsarmina said, feeling a little more at ease. She smiled a little at Glacier. But the smile came from her mouth, not her beautiful brown eyes.

(taersx asked me to take over her characters, so here goes nothing!)
Glacier led Tsarmina to a large grove of trees. The beautiful, pink buds were just starting to bloom, and it appeared as though a pink blanket had been laid out over the grass. He turned around and looked at her. "Is something the matter? Tell me what is on your mind."

"Nothing is the matter." She said shortly. She had the will to fight a stallion but not to talk to Glacier. she looked around, she pink blossoms reflected into her dark eyes making them look pink.
