Ruby ran away in fear into the Apple orchards..Penny scattered into the woods. Beauty just backed away a few steps. Most of the mares scattered.

Beauty saw and rushed to his side. She laid by him, pushing him every once in a while, to see if he was O.K. Beauty burst into tears, she was scared that Fayez may never come back. She neighed for help, but no mare could hear her.
(When I said no mare could hear her, I mean Ruby and Penny couldn't hear her)

Bonsai rushed to Fayez's side. No... She nudged his neck. With tears in her eyes, she whispered, "I love you so much, no matter what happens. She lay down next to him and just stared, waiting, watching every move in her line of vision.

Beauty never took her eyes off of Fayez. She didn't care if Bonsai just came, she cared about Fayez. She cried for mercy. She loved Fayez no matter what and she would do whatever it takes to help him. She nudged him very often, now. "Fayez," she whispered to him. "Please, Fayez." she said.

Fayez slowly regained consciousness. His orbs gazed around for awhile, everything fuzzy. His eyes fixed on Beauty for a few second. The his gaze went to Bonzai. "Bonzai... You came..."

Beauty was soo happy. "Fayez!" she said. She nuzzled him. Ruby came trotting back. A thought popped into Beauty's head. It's Breeding Season..He..he loves Bonsai...and.. Beauty put her head down she walked into the apple orchards and looked on the ground. She saw a rotten apple and a not so rotten apple. She took the not so rotten apple and dropped it in front of Fayez. She nudged it forward with her head.

Fayez took the apple and ate it slowly. "Thank you Beauty..." He tried to stand up, but he was to weak.

"Welcome" she said. She gazed at Ruby, then her eyes fell upon Bonsai. She thought in her head I'm soo ugly compared to Bonsai..Maybe I shuld just give-up she thought. She had no hope.

Fayez lowered his crown back to ground, closing his dark orbs. The cuts had finally stopped bleeding. His breaths grew shorter and raspy.

Beauty stood straight and still. An Autumn breeze came through, pushing Beauty's tail to the side. She turned her head slightly to the the right of her and saw Fayez. She saw there were no more cuts or wounds that are bleeding. She smiled and turned away.

(Uh.... There are still cuts... They just stopped beeding...)
Fayez soon fell asleep. The night was getting darker and he slept dreamlessly. His deep sleep got deeper and deeper as the hours past.

Beauty laid down to rest. So did Penny. And same with Ruby.

The next morning Fayez woke with a start. His crown flew up and he winced in pain as his cuts rubbed against the ground. He sighed lightly, then forced himself to stand up and shaky legs.

Bonsai awoke abruptly when she heard him get up. She turned to him with kind eyes and said, "Do not attempt to stand, you need more rest. You are not yet fully recovered." She nuzzled him lovingly and gently. "Wait until you have regained all your strength until you start to move around a lot." Bonsai was more worried than she was willing to show. She knew that if he died, all her spirit would be gone and she would never be the same. She loved him so much that she knew her sadness of his passing away alone would make her die a slow and miserable death.
